Accessibility
How we make this site usable for everyone, and how to tell us when it is not.
We want everyone to be able to use this site, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. This statement explains what we have done and what to do if something does not work for you.
What we have done
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Every page works with a keyboard, has a "skip to content" link and shows a clear focus outline.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels, and images have text alternatives where they carry meaning.
- Text and controls are designed to meet contrast requirements in both the dark and light themes.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the scroll animations and the 3D phoenix stop moving, and smooth scrolling is turned off.
- The layout adapts to small screens and to text zoom up to 200 percent.
Known limitations
- The 3D phoenix animation on the home page is decorative. It does not carry any information that is not also in the page text.
- The contact form opens your own email app. If you do not use one, email us directly at the address below.
Tell us about a problem
If you find something hard to use, or need information in a different format, email [email protected]. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will reply within 5 working days.
